12-13-14 Seek

Whenever someone tells you there’s no God,

Reply that they’ve not tried to seek Him out.

To find a hidden thing you have to prod,

But you won’t look if you are filled with doubt.

Crack open like an egg your hardened heart;

Let loose the golden falcon of your soul.

A thousand mile journey needs a start;

A shovelful of dirt begins a hole.

How can you not believe who’ve never tried?

He answers all who call, this much is true,

For those who call His name won’t be denied;

The proof you need is right in front of you.

Use all your heart and soul to seek the Lord,

And He’ll reveal Himself with one accord.
