To know beyond a doubt if you love God,

Observe your life and see the fruit you bear.

If you shun His commandments you’re a fraud;

How can you claim to love if you don’t care?

God’s moral laws are still in place today,

And done sincere in faith, His light shines through.

Look to the edicts Jesus did convey,

Your neighbor should you love, your brother, too.

You must love God with everything you’ve got,

And if you do believe Christ died for you,

Submit your life to Him as Spirit wrought;

A new man will emerge: you’ll know it’s true.

You’ll know that you know Him without a doubt

If you keep His commandments all throughout.

The world is groaning from the weight of sin,

And demons have grown bold and run berserk.

Disease, addiction, hate are thriving in

A perfect soup where unclean spirits lurk.

Their demons are expelled with great despair.

With Jesus working through us He can purge

Whatever demons live within a soul.

Disease of every kind with faith are scourged;

If you believe that Jesus is your Lord,

Don’t hesitate to call upon His name.

You must let go your will, you must be floored;

Believe with all your heart He’ll cure your shame.

Be like the leper, fall upon your face:

The door to Heaven’s shaped like one in prayer.

You must surrender everything to grace;

Put all your faith in Christ, your soul laid bare.

Confess your sins to God; He will forgive.

God’s mercy heals contrite and broken hearts.

You must prepare to die before you live;

 When Jesus touches you, your sins depart.

O Lord, if it’s Your will, then make us clean.

Our sins keep us from You, please intervene!

If all we had to do was give in alms,

For giving is what love is all about.

If God did love us so He sent His Son

The world population has grown by 1.2 billion since I blogged here last.

First of all, I just made that number up out of my head. I could claim to be a SWAG master (Scientific Wild Ass Guess) and sometimes do, but not now. I could care less how many people have been born since my last blog, really. Why? They can’t read yet. Let them get a little tough around the edges before they pick up this drivel. If they laugh it will be AT me, not TO me, and that’s ok because I feel the same. If they don’t laugh that means they’re smarter than me.

Secondly, I actually know (roughly) how many babies have come into this world since the last time I blogged. Don’t ask me how I came about that figure, and don’t expect me to replicate my formula. I mean, how can someone actually…

The Lord of Lords assumed the mold of man

And formed a bridge between both us and God.

The hosts of angels shouted songs of joy

When Mary brought Him forth into the world;

Both God and man up to His final breath.

He gave His life for us who don’t deserve,

Then rose again defeating hell and death.

This perfect child within the manger lay

Still perfect and alive this latter day!
